I'm so happy I found this!! Makes it so much easier to travel and hook up my device anywhere!!! The customer service was great- I had a moment where I couldn't get it to work and they helped me via email quickly and kindly! Only thing is after a month- I'm not sure the cord that keeps my device charged isn't keeping it charged :( Not sure if it's my device or the cord! But I'm very happy to be able to use this!!!!

I bought this adaptor because it said it worked on the Galaxy Tab 3 and that is what I have. When I first tried it, it did not work. Then I got a power adaptor to try it powered. It still did not work. Then I unplugged it from the tablet and there was a message on the screen that the HDMI adaptor was unplugged. That looked encouraging so I plugged it back in and then it started to work and worked fine. I did not try it again without external power but it did charge the tablet while using it. I also like the long flexible cable to the HDMI connector.

I wasn't too sure about this item working with my Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.0 after reading reviews however I ended up purchasing it andit works fine, easy to hook up glad I got it.
