I wasn't entirely sure new batteries would fix my neato's problems, and when I first saw this the Li-ion batteries there were no reviews. So I owe one to the people who gave it a try.My neato had been giving a generic battery error message and crapping out if I tried to run it. I temporarily fixed this by re-inserting the batteries, but eventually it was a persistent issue.So I ordered new batteries, and decided to go with the higher capacity aftermarket ones here. Turns out the neato can now vacuum my whole apartment (less than 650 sq ft) on a single charge. It also has a little bit of capacity left beyond that. As long as these batteries don't explode or something due to manufacturing defects, I'm hoping they'll last awhile! (A good li-ion ought to have a longer serviceable life at higher capacity). I'll update this if anything terrible happens, but after a month and a half and a good half dozen runs, this is doing pretty well.

I bought these to replace the stock nigh batteries, the stock batteries lasted about 20 minutes , then had to recharge. I had the Neato XVS pet vac for a couple of weeks, the vacuum worked great other then the short battery life. With today's battery technology I was suprised Neato did not use lithium batteries. I had no issue with installing batteries, they were not in hibernating mode. I charged over night, and let it run until the battery died. It ran for 1 hour and 40 minutes. It cleans 3 large areas on one charge. Must do upgrade.

My original Neato batteries only lasted a little over a year under light use. I have had these for 3 months and they run my vac at least twice as long as the Neato battery's. No issues yet. Follow the instructions closely and do all the steps.

Batteries arrived on time as stated/ordered.Followed the battery installation procedure supplied with the batteries. Installed the batteries into the Neato but the Neato wouldn't wake up and when installed on the charge station for about 10 or so seconds, they wouldn't want to take a charge (just a dim green light, no bright green or cycling yellow to green light) nor would the unit power up. Following the instruction, disconnected both batteries than connected but still no charge indication when on power station. Left batteries in Neato on power station for 2 days but still no charge or power up. Since I'm a Power Electronics Engineer with a variable voltage power supply set the supply to 7.2V and connected the supply to the battery connector leads, of course observing polarity, the power supply registered no current for about 2 to 3 seconds than the current started to flow. Had to do the same thing to the second battery. Installed batteries in Neato, and the Neato came alive. Put Neato on charge station Neato started charging battery. Had no issues with battery packs since. Had to do the same thing for the second set of batteries for the second Neato. Which leads me to believe the "shut down circuit" needs some sort of minimum charge current that the Neato doesn't supply after being shut off to make the battery wake-up after shipping.

Replaced the default batteries that came with the unit once they seemingly stopped working after a year or so with these. They get the job done without needing to recharge mid-way. And as long as they last a reasonable amount of recharges before biting the dust, I have nothing to complain about.
