This 2" cable is used for powering serial drives. Serial drives, unlike standard drives, do not use the four pin molex connector that comes off of your power supply. This cable converts the power supply's four pin molex connector to a 15 pin male serial connector, used for powering up the serial device. Can be used for most Liteon or hp internal DVDRW drives with SATA interface.
