At first, I got really mad because the cable would never pass the cable test, after multiple attempts. But after a closer look, I discovered you need to shove the wires into the block as far as possible. I was not inserting the wires far enough, because I was concerned about the securing clip not squishing the wires properly. Take a look at the location of the pins that pierce the wires. Cover those pierce-points and the cable will work perfectly.

Easy to use but beware that it don't always cut every wire so it doesn't always make the connection. Rewired 6 rooms in my house and 5 of them I needed to go back to fix at least 1 that didn't cut. Suggestion would be to set the wires, clamp them down, tug on the wires a little but then remove tension on clamp then clamp the down again to really set it. Overall way better to use then the punch down models.

I have used many keystone Jacks and this one is one of my new go to designs. I do suggest using the clear cover to push down the wires as you insert them this way the wires do not fall out
