UTP Cat.6A/Cat.6/Cat.5e Keystone Jack with LED modular plug is 8-position 8-conductor (8P8C) and designed for computer networking. The unique toolless design does not require the use of a crimping tool. Simply insert the leads following the color coding, and press down the lid. T568A and T568B color wiring diagram is integrated on the lid for easy installation. The modular plugs are manufactured from high-impact clear poly-carbonate to withstand everyday wear and tear. You can except error-free data transfers.
  • CAT 5e/6 rated connector provide excellent performance for data networks requiring maximum speed and bandwidth
  • PCB technology provides maximum performance and superior signal quality
  • Gold plated contacts and easy snap-in retaining clip ensure a secure and corrosion free connection
  • Using high quality poly-arbonate flame retardant materials, which reached the level of UL94V-0
  • Includes an integrated TIA-568A/B color wiring diagram
  • Backwards compatible to all lower rated category components
  • Compatible with all installer wall-plates, surface mount boxes, and blank patch panels
  • Applicable wire gauge: 22 to 26AWG
  • IDC (Insulation Displacement Connector) No need to strip the wire before connecting
  • EASY SNAP-IN retaining clip and Gold plated contacts ensure a secure and corrosion free connection; (For best error-free result, snap in two pairs of wires in first time and snap in other two pairs in the second time).
  • SAVE COST:  No Punch Down Tool Required. Just snap in the wires with the enclosed punch down stand. Support your 100M to 10-Gigabit Ethernet network at a low price with this convenient and cost effective multi-pack package.
  • COMPACT DESIGN: Compact structure design, to ensure the relaxed accommodate space at the bottom of the box; Keystone jack supports T568A and T568B wiring with color coded schema and accepts 22~26 AWG Ethernet cables
  • HEAVEY DUTY: Using high quality poly-arbonate flame retardant materials, which reached the level of UL94V-0; IDC caps protect the blocks and wires against dusts.
  • MEET STANDARDS: Cat6/ Cat6A/ Cat5e Keystone modular jack for patch panels, surface mount boxes, or wall plates (face plates) with standard keystone ports. UL Listed Cat6 jack meets Category 6 performance in compliance with the 568B.2-1 ISO/IEC and TIA/EIA 11801 standards
Features:
  • DC resistance: ≤300mΩ
  • contact resistance ≤20mΩ
  • compressive strength: 1000V(AC750V)1min no breakdown and flying arc
  • insulation resistance≥1000mΩ
  • IDC terminal: phosphor bronze, 22-26AWG conductor
  • the plug and the socket is inserted with more than 1000 times
  • storage temperature: -40℃~70℃
  • installation temperature: -10℃~60℃
  • working temperature: -10℃~60℃
Installation Instructions:
  1. Strip off cable jacket 1~1.5" with cable stripper.
  2. Determine the wiring scheme and properly align all four cables accordingly on the jack. Keep the cable jacket as close to the connector as possible.
  3. Preserve the wire pair twists as closely as possible to the point of termination. when connecting jacks and plugs, do not untwist the cable more than 0.5 inches. Insert wires down into IDC terminal slots to position them before punching down.
  4. when using a 110 punch-down tool, make sure the tool is straight before punching down on the connector. Make sure the cut-side of the tool is facing outwards.
  5. Inspect the connector to verify that the wires are fully engaged in the IDC terminals and they are cut properly.
Use of LED Indicator on keystone modular:
  1. Two LED lights on the modular can be used to test the connection during keystone installation. Please use a regular cable tester and patch cord to connect to one end of the network cable/keystone. If both Green and Blue LED lights are on at the keystone, it means the connection is good. Otherwise you may need to check the wire to fix connection problem.
  2. The LED lights also can be used to identify a cartain cable when you have many cables installed at one location. Just connect one network cable with a cable tester at the far end, and you will be able to find the corresponding cables at the other end. Thus, it will save you a lot of time to find the corresponding cable on the patch panel.
